4-H Scholarships

There are two scholarships offered by the Giles County Youth Endowment Committee for Giles County 4-H members only. The Lester and Dora Gross Scholarship is a scholarship for a 4-H member planning to major in Agriculture. The Doris Yarborough Scholarship is a scholarship given to any 4-Her majoring in any field of study. To receive either of these scholarships, the recipient must complete one semester/quarter of study at an accredited college or university and earn a minimum GPA of 2.0 for that completed term.

There are also State Scholarships that are offered by the Tennessee 4-H Foundation. For additional information: State Level Scholarship Criteria.

All 12th grade 4-H members enrolled for the 2012 – 2013 school year are eligible to apply for these scholarships. All extension related programs are offered without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, gender, age, disability, or veteran status.
