4th-8th Grades
Clover Bowl is for any 4th-8th grade student in Giles County. If you don’t mind putting a little bit of studying and practice in, and competing in a quiz bowl format, you may have some fun participating in the 4-H Clover Bowl. Learn more about 4-H, Agriculture, Government, Life Skills, Science, and Tennessee. Here’s how it works.
- Form a team of four (4) students, including you, in the same grade from Giles County. The team can be made up of 4 students from the same homeroom, school, or a group from all around Giles County.
- Ask a teacher or parent/guardian if they would be interested in helping your team practice.
- Study the Clover Bowl manual for your grade and practice with your team.
- Compete at the county level contest in the spring.
- The 1st place team at the county contest from each grade 4th-8th will advance on to represent Giles County at the Central Region Clover Bowl contest in May at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN.
This is a great team building opportunity for 4-H youth. You can download and print the Clover Bowl questions at 4-H Clover Bowl. For more information, please contact Wheeler McCulloch at wmccull4@utk.edu.
